Camelina oil
Camelina sativa, also known as false flax and gold of pleasure, is an ancient oil crop grown in European countries and Russia and belongs to the Brassicaceae family. The oil is obtained by pressing the seeds, which contain up to 40% of oil. It is widely used in food preparations due to its cholesterol reduction properties, and also used in topical applications. It is rich in Omega 3 & 6, as well as bioactive compounds such as vitamin E and vitamin A, both powerful antioxidants. Camelina oil is known to highly moisturise and improve the skin tone, and add moisture and shine to the hair.
Organic Aloe vera organic
Aloe Vera is a desert plant that belongs to the lily family. It grows well in dry soils and is native to East and South Africa. The fleshy leaves are sharp and serrated with white spikes; they contain a clear gel harvested for its healing properties. Aloe vera is known to soften, calm and help protect the skin. It is known to be great at calming sunburn or redness caused by the cold.
Glycerine
A traditional cosmetic material and has been used for many years thanks to its well-known effectiveness. As a humectant, glycerine draws moisture from the air into your skin to keep it hydrated and soft. It’s also very mild and does not cause irritation.
Pomegranate seed oil
Pomegranate is a round fruit belonging to the lythraceae family and grow on a small tree or shrub. Pomegranate seed oil has excellent moisturizing, protective and nourishing properties. It is a wonderful oil for mature and ageing skin, and is soothing to dry, irritated or sunburnt skin. It contains a high amount of conjugated fatty acids which have anti-inflammatory properties. The specific fatty acid in pomegranate seed oil is punicic acid. In addition, pomegranate oil is said to help with collagen production, act as a free radical scavenger, boost restoration and repair of the skin. Pomegranate oil is an upcycled oil.
